Too good to be true?
You’re on the brink of something – you can feel it. But you’re not sure how or what.
Or perhaps you know what’s on the horizon – but haven’t been able to lift the fog from the pathway.
You yearn for a creative process that allows you to expand and explore your creative path, but that can intimidate, especially the idea of opening up to what that might mean alone.
What if you could begin that journey in a safe and sacred ritual process? In a fully supportive collective where you can plumb the depths, explore, and expand upon whatever emerges?
Whether you’re a writer, artist, dancer, musician, entrepreneur, spiritual director, community developer, somatic, therapeutic, and/or spiritual practitioner, or teacher, you might think it all sounds too good to be true.
Rest assured that it is NOT.
For the last 20 years, I’ve been facilitating just that kind of opportunity through Creative Body/Mind/Soul full and half-day workshops.
These provide the necessary space, structure, and support for healers, artists, spiritual practitioners, speakers, community leaders, and others seeking creative expansion, integration, and transformation.
In these environments, we’ll use various modes of exploration, expansion, and integration, including movement, stillness, breath, writing, art, sound, verbalization, and communal ritual.
Discover and nurture your whole being.
While traditional, Western therapeutic approaches focus on cognitive processes and mental insight, we’ll be working toward something more significant, more profound.
To achieve true creativity, full understanding, deep healing, and fully embodied spirit, we must experience these things in the body, as well.
And we must respond and deepen them through a variety of creative, spiritual, conscious means, and creative modalities. We must witness them in an empathic relationship.
We must be brave enough to explore and integrate them fully and bring them to their valued and needed place within the community.
Move toward the surface – in safety.
Within the safety of a sacred container, we begin with being witnessed spontaneously in a full embodiment of impulses arising from the depths of our being. We achieve this through the practice of Authentic Movement, a therapeutic and body/mind meditative practice rooted in C. G. Jung’s active imagination approach.
In this form, we bring previously unconscious personal and collective material into our active consciousness. Once embodied, we allow ourselves to experience it fully. It becomes the sacred grist for the creative mill.
And that’s only the beginning.
We then provide further opportunities to access and give form to emerging material through individual writing, drawing, and sculpting.
We’ll engage in additional breathing, movement, stillness, verbalization, and dialogue or silence to work through additional levels of body, brain, psyche, and soul.
We do all these things to allow the spirit to flow freely for integration and even further expansion.
Where do you go from there?
You can use the material that emerges during these workshops as a catalyst for additional creative and artistic work,
The workshops also allow for greater development and enhanced form to specific, embodied, awakened consciousness.
For inward – and outward – expansion, it’s essential.
This opportunity for integrating mind/body/soul via communal, ritual spirit is essential to individual self-development – to further the evolution and integration of your therapeutic, artistic, expressive, and spiritual practices.
But it transcends you, the individual, alone.
It also enhances your ability to serve and cultivate the health, vitality, and well-being of the collective, moving us all toward a more vibrant understanding of the sacredness of our world.
